Prep Work
Potato - 2 (peeled & cut into big chunks, in water, then strain)
Onions - 2 (sliced & loose)
Tadka (approx time to cook : 30 mins)
Medium flame (800 W) for few mins, then add :
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
After jeera changes color, add potato & mix well
Switch to high flame (1800 W)
Stir constantly for 5 mins
Then switch to low flame (400 W)
Cover with lid, occassional saute for 10 mins
Add onions
Add salt (1/2 tsp)
Add turmeric (1/2 tsp)
Add chilli pwdr (1/2 tsp)
Add kasuri methi (1 tsp), powdered in hand
Mix well & close lid
Add little water, to prevent drying up
Cook for 15 mins, with occassional saute
Add more salt to taste (1/2 tsp or more)
Switch off stove & mix well.
Cover with lid & let it rest.
Dish is ready to serve.
Approx time from tadka to end : 30 mins
